EU Law

Furthering studies in European Union Legislation at the University of Leicester (UK) has helped the Managing Partner Dr Ian Spiteri Bailey to establish a specialised legal practice in this sphere of law. Running for the 2004 EU Parliament elections has also brought him closer to EU Legislation, and all this has helped SB Advocates to provide assistance to both local as well as foreign persons living in Malta in matters regulated by EU Law.

With Dr Ingrid Bianco writing her Doctorate Thesis on Competition and Consumer Legislation, SB Advocates can provide specialised legal assistance in EU Legislation, particularly in EU Employment matters; EU Consumer Protection matters, as well as other areas falling within such competence, including competition, the environment, judicial remedies, the implementation of EU regulations and application of EU Directives in Malta.
